Education: Completion of a related technical program, community college / associate's / bachelor's degree
Experience: 2+ years in a related role
Tasks:
• Make recommendations for meeting market needs to product management team
• Conduct market analysis and interpretation of niches and competition
• Manage the product throughout its lifecycle (including positioning, pricing)
• Establish structured processes for a complete product launch
• Optimize product forecast and product procurement.
• Create marketing campaigns while supporting advertising and promotions tactics
• Conducts competitive analysis and benchmarking for assigned product(s).
• Initiates and maintains relationships with industry trade groups, analysts, and publications.
Ideal candidate qualifications:
• Worked in a start-up environment before
• Has performed search engine optimization and is well-versed in Google Analytics and other SEO tools
• Developed community following for a product or service
• Has leveraged social networking tools such as Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter to build company image
• Strong knowledge and experience of the recruitment market, marketing analysis, and strategic planning, including experience with AC Nielsen, NPD or other data sources
• Project management, marketing communications and strategic planning experience in all key marketing touch points (price, promo, place and product)
• Product management experience, including launch, lifecycle management and competitive analysis
• Ability to sell ideas well through creative & innovative cohesive presentations
• Ability to travel up to 35% of time and has discipline to work from a home office

Business Development Manager (Seattle, 98109)
Field: Business administration, operations, management, supply chain, industrial engineering
Education: Completion of a related technical program, community college / associate's / bachelor's degree or military experience
Experience: 2+ years in a related role
Tasks:
• Deliver live, web, email-based presentations
• Develop and maintain the long-term (1 to 18 month) sales forecast and production plan
• Forecast demand to drive supply chain management activities throughout the organization, use planning systems and other tools to determine the inventory required to support those forecasts, and plan the production and purchases to build the necessary inventory.
• Manage phase-in / phase-outs for products so as to facilitate new product introductions and minimize obsolescence
• Identify planning system and process improvements and for conducting ad hoc management analysis.
• Primary performance metrics for this role are inventory turns, fill rate, and forecast accuracy.
Ideal candidate qualifications:
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction
• Detailed-oriented, organized, analytical self-starter: driven to take the initiative and find innovative solutions

• Determine best method to improve forecast accuracy.
• Assess and implement trade off recommendations as appropriate.

Education: Completion of at least 2.5 years in a related technical program, community college / associate's / bachelor's degree or military experience
Experience: At least 6 months in a similar role
Tasks:
• Under the direction and close supervision of a mentor or supervisor, the intern will be given basic business or MIS assignments. May assist in preparation of business/technical publication documents, develop procedures, file documentation and/or perform data entry duties. May spend a substantial portion of time in studying policies, procedures and software packages required to perform work.
